Here are some examples of websites I have designed. In all cases I was the sole designer and developer, taking the project from the concept stage complete through execution.
EuroSearch is a full service recruitment agency focusing on management-level positions in the eBusiness and telecom industries. EuroSearch is located in Hertfordshire, UK.
The final design took advantage of the powerful EuroSearch logo color to draw the eye to areas of interest.
A clean and modern look was accomplished through the use of asymmetrical composition, bold lines and contrasting curves. Discerning use of gradients and photography accented the design without overwhelming the viewer or seeming too gimmicky.
Hicks Consulting Group is one of the most established and respected technology consulting firms in the Bay Area. I was tasked with designing and implementing a new website to represent the firm's modern approach without straying from the brand colors and logo that have been part of their visual identity for more than 10 years.
Working directly with CEO Darren Hicks and his team, I developed a website concept that would project their vision of the company. The final design stresses 3 of Hicks Consulting Group's greatest strengths — their history, geographic focus and industry expertise.
Management Recruiters International has become the leading recruitment firm in the world with over 1,000 global franchise offices successfully completing over 34,000 searches each year. In 2005 the company rebranded as MRINetwork. Through an incentive program the company endeavors to spread its brand identity through offices' websites, print materials and marketing collateral. Much leeway is given so that each office can project its own personality.
Through the course of my work at POP Interactive I have created and customized website templates for over 30 franchise offices. Some highlights are shown on the left, with descriptions below:
Management Recruiters of Las Vegas
www.mri-nevada.com
A quintessential example of a branded MRINetwork site. Notice the strong use of the colors of the brand: orange, black, gray and blue.
Management Recruiters Worldwide -
Middle East Group
www.mri-me.com
This rapid-growth international office required a website with significant image and scripting work to reflect the local flavor.
Epic Search Partners
www.epicsearchpartners.com
I worked with this New Jersey firm that specializes in Search Engine Optimization to develop a unique banner graphic.
Management Recruiters of Manhattan - Madison Avenue
www.mrnyc.com
This established office integrated iconic images of their landmark area to enhance their use of the brand.
What I Did:
In 2006 I designed and implemented this video game rumors blog for "informant" Bruce Kelly. RumorReporter.com's mysterious rumors called for an equally mysterious design, so the site was built to look like the blog posts are journal entries on a darkened desk. Photoshop was used for compositing and texture creation.
As of January 2008 the site is being retired, as the owners of the site, Advanced Media Network, have decided to merge rumor reporting duties into their own new branded site Kombo.com.
